Yes, you can drive from Denver to Alaska. Initially, I wanted to drive the whole Alaska Highway, the Highway Formerly Know As Al-Can, but I figured I was probably only going to get one shot at this, and took the most scenic route I could find, as determined by the little dots on the AAA maps. It turns out, you can also take the ferry back to the Lower 48, which is a great way to see the ocean part of the state, as opposed to the mountain part of the state. So we did that, too.
